Up in the hills overlooking the Milau viaduct on the right of the picture We "promenade" on our mini motorcycles.
The viaduct a little closer
A Traffic jam on the back road between Aguessac and Millau.
Eventually we have to drive over the viaduct - but not on our mini bikes!
Here's a photo of part of the Milau viaduct in its early stages of construction taken in 2003. The pillars are concrete, the bridge all steel and pushed out from the sides. After the two bits met in the middle and were joined together the red steel intermediate supports were removed.
"Le last of Le summer wine". Alongside the river Tarne at the municipal camp site at Aguessac.
And our "pitch" at Aguessac looking across the Tarne towards Compere.
Now we have moved to the Mediterranean town of Agde and stay at a camp site alongside the river Herault. La Tamarisiere is the local name for the area. One tourist attraction is the jousting tournaments.
An evening shot looking across the Herault taken from our pitch.
In between the boats the Muskrats visit for bread alongside the ducks.
Half an hour down the road to Sete.
White Egrets hitch a lift.
Our pitch is on the right and the Herault on the left. The road is a dead end.
Fancy some grapes?
Home made Paella.
Pont de Dognon. A stop for coffee.
Overnight stop at St Aignan.
A "friend" stayed with us for a couple of days at Cap Blank Nez near Calais.
One weeks holiday every year for the last 15 years was the Beaujolais rally in November. Here Chris Tarrant helps us pass over the £4600.00 raised in 2004
